Booking Blitz

BOOKING BLITZ

A Booking Blitz is when you and other Consultants take an hour (or more) to call all your warm leads from the past at the same time, to book parties. Set a day and time to meet either in person or via conference call/3-way call and have a pep talk before dialing for dollars! When the hour is up, check back in with each other to see how it went. GOOD LUCK!

- Studies show that the reason consultants don’t book parties is NOT because no one wants to have a party. It is because the consultants don’t make the calls, or they stop making the calls!
- You are VERY likely going to come away within this one hour’s time, with at least ONE booking.
- Is adding 1 new booking worth your time? You may even want to keep calling after the hour!
- Always be collecting NEW warm leads, and add them to your contact list so you can do this again!

Before You Dial:

- Everyone needs a pen, your leads list, and your calendar with open dates marked
- Be POSITIVE
- Be Enthusiastic (Stand up! Smile!)
- Acknowledge the individual wherever you can so it is PERSONAL
- Emphasize that your parties are FUN for hostesses, and guests
- Before starting to dial, take a DEEP BREATH, go over your notes, stand up and SMILE
- KEEP calling until the hour is up!

Here is an example script of what you can say:

Hi __________! This is [name] from [company], do you have a quick minute to chat? If you recall, we met at _________________. I am so excited to catch you at home today! A group of other [company] Consultants and I are doing a “Booking Blitz” right now at the same time, and our job is to schedule some more parties.

You have (been such a fabulous hostess in the past) (such an enthusiastic customer) (shown some interest in earning free product in the past) (seemed so excited about our products) that I just thought of you, because I would love to have a party with you. You were so (warm, friendly, enthusiastic) and I know you and your friends would have so much fun! I’d love to meet them and share this great product.

_______, the exciting thing is because I am in this booking blitz, I have an irresistible offer for you. Do you want to hear it? (Usually, they say SURE!!)

Well if you can set a party date with me today for a party between now and the end of [month], you will be entered into a drawing for [some kind of incentive]! Isn’t that awesome! Plus I am offering you _________ [free hostess tax/shipping, extra free product, etc.] when party holds on the date we set today. How does that sound??

- Set the party date
- Set the date to deliver or mail hostess pack
- Set the date to call/hostess coach

If she says no, ask if you can call back in a month or two to see if anything has changed. If she says no, just say “Well _____ thanks so much for your time, I totally understand! If you change your mind of know of anyone else who might be interested, give me a call! Have a great day!!”

Good luck and have fun!

Master Task List

In order to gain better control of your time, it is important to create a Master Task List of those tasks you repeatedly do daily, weekly or monthly. Then plot them out on your monthly calendar so your days, weeks, and months are predictable. This will allow you to have a purpose-driven calendar! This is mine… If you have something you’d add or change, post it in the comments!
