Family Schedule
Do you feel like your life is hectic and crazy? Feel like you have no control over it? I was feeling that way too until someone convinced me to post a weekly schedule on my fridge. What a difference it has made.
First of all it helps me with a visual prominently displayed in my home (instead of just on my computer which is where my planner is) but it also gives my family a better sense of how I am spending my time. They know that in the blank spots I am more available, and during the business times I am working. I even started putting “dinner” on the schedule so I’d remember to plan something to cook! It has helped a lot. LOL
I got this magnetic white board from Office Max for about $15. It has magnets on the back so I can put it on the fridge, and is magnetic itself so I got the magnetic white board pens too! I then took a Sharpie and made a line down the columns and wrote time blocks down the left side and turned it into a Weekly calendar vs. a Monthly which is what I bought it as. Now my family can easily see what we have planned for the week and when I am available, and they know when there’s something green on the schedule, that I am working. 
Try it for a week, see if it helps you gain some control over your week!
